The Illuminati (plural of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened") is a name given to several groups, both real (historical) and fictitious. Historically the name refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on May 1, 1776. In more modern contexts the name refers to a purported conspiratorial organization which is alleged to mastermind events and control world affairs through governments and corporations to establish a New World Order. In this context the Illuminati are usually represented as a modern version or continuation of the Bavarian Illuminati.

It was to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth and to make room in the Illuminati for Blue Ivy Carter.

The All Seeing Eye
The theme of the ‘All Seeing Eye’ and the ‘Evil Eye’ is one of the most powerful and easily recognisable symbols in the occult and is one of the favoured symbols of the Illuminati going back as far as one can trace. Undoubtedly the eye is the 'doorway to the soul' (speaking literally and not). To know a person's 'truth' can be achieved by 'looking them in the eye' which begins to explain why the symbol is so meaningful.
Nowadays it generally appears on many of the bloodline controlled institutions and companies such as the media, financial, technological, academic, governmental and more popularly on the US Dollar Bill.
It is quite common for this to appear in a pyramid capstone which is detached from the rest of the pyramid, symbolising the all seeing elite at the top which is untouchable compared to the rest of the pyramid below.
The Eternal Flame
Throughout history you will find this symbol being used. This symbol more often than not represents the possession of knowledge. (i.e. the celebration of those who are in possession of the knowledge and their power over those who aren't). The flaming torch being all illuminating, with knowledge represented by the fire.
Illuminism is the concept, the original founding philosophy of the oldest seeds of the Illuminati. That one can draw power over not only ones own destiny but the destiny of others also.
Sun Cycles
The Sun is a massively powerful symbol to the elite going back thousands and thousands of years. In ancient times, even to the average John working on a farm, the Sun was a force to be worshipped. Within its monthly and yearly cycles, he would grow crops during its height, harvest as it weakened and take shelter during the lowest point of its strength.
But there was then and has always been more to the sun than just an energy source from which abundance can be given. Its many sub-cycles that the average un-educated man or woman in the street is unaware of, its relationship with the other planets of the universe and the effects on the gravity and polarity and magnetics of our own planet, especially in relation with our Moon (another massive Illuminati symbol). Certain words and phrases such as Summer, sun-set, ‘father and son’ actually originate from the knowledge and worship of this ‘Energy Source’.
The Lion as seen on the ten pence piece is another ancient Sun symbol. The golden mane of the Lion representing the golden rays of the sun.
Also the circle and the cross is another ‘Zodiac’ type Sun symbol representing the four seasons. The circle being the Sun which is on a cross, dividing it into four, also used by the Celtic Cross. Constantine the Great who practically wrote the Christian religion was massively into sun worship and symbolism, which is why the story of the Crucifixion of Christ implemented the Son (Sun) of God on the Cross.
El Diablo
The 'sign of the Devil' (aka El Diablo) can be achieved by arranging the fingers of your hand. This symbol represents the horns of the beast, or Satan.
This is often done 'out of daftness' by rock musicians and their fans at concerts around the world. As with other symbols of the Illuminati, only those who lead the movements really understand what they mean.
The Pyramid Capstone
The pyramid with the capstone detached has several meanings. One meaning would be the symbol of an unfinished project (i.e. the Great Work of Ages a.k.a the New World Order) which is very near completion. A similar theme is carried in the classic depiction of the Tower of Babel. An image which has the same feeling as the classic pyramid seen on the One Dollar Bill. A second meaning would be the symbol of the elite or gods (as they see themselves) at the top of a compartmentalised system/civilisation. The pyramid being a monument built by slaves (allegedly). The elite get to stand at the very top and at their vantage point they get to see all, hence the All Seeing Eye in the capstone.
The Pentagram
When you do the research you will find that the Pentagram, also known as the 'five pointed star' is one of the all time favourite esoteric symbols of the secret society network of the Illuminati. Its meaning and placement varies from society to society, religion to religion and new age movement to new age movement.
